LaToya Leary Francis is a biblical scholar, administrator, and is the founder of Amanah Bible Institute. Her goal in life is to evoke change in the Body of Christ and the world at-large by:

• aiding others through identity formation and development,

• thinking creatively about how to best re-present Christ and remain relevant in contemporary society,

• and producing scholarship that will initiate deeper and more productive conversations on how to interpret and live out sacred writings/teachings. 

Much of LaToya's work centers on advocacy and advancement. Her scholarly work considers rhetoric concerning marginal societal states and thinks through how vituperative rhetoric disables us all. Her work in Amanah Bible Institute (ABI) is not completely unrelated. As the founder of ABI, she aims to increase consciousness concerning the importance of community in the process of translation and interpretation of biblical texts. ABI encourages knowledge sharing and personal/spiritual equipment by fostering an interdependent space for effective dialogue. The student must be empowered to become instructor, and the instructor must be student for efficient growth and progression.

 

eMerge & See Co aims to provide well-needed coaching and consulting in religion and spirituality, ministry planting and leadership, and vision and ideation. This ministry rose out of years of longing for two things: 1) effective coaching for the highly sensitive, and 2) change in the Body of Christ as a whole, especially in goal setting, policy development and regulation, quality assurance, and de-centered power structures. 
 

LaToya has a wealth of experience in administration, policy development, leadership, academic advising, teaching,  research, biblical scholarship, and spiritual development. Her six year experience as a de-churched believer resulted in a deeper understanding concerning power and oppressive teachings/systems and its relation to the Church. This encounter also resulted in clarity of vision and insight concerning her role in the Body of Christ. It was this six-year period that better equipped LaToya to serve you as an administrator, coach, and consultant.
